Welcome to Christine Devereux
I like to make images that people can relate to, or pictures that tell a story and leave the viewer a little curious. Being creative can lift your spirits and mood and help you stay focussed.
Since taking up painting I have found myself noticing and appreciating life around me a lot more, instead of getting distracted by unimportant things.
I hope you enjoy looking at my pictures as much as I enjoyed making them …..
Art Therapy
I have practised as a therapist since 1980 with people from many walks of life – from celebrities and managing directors to young people with challenging backgrounds and behaviour.
People have come with all sorts of problems: from addictions and eating issues to difficulties with self esteem, confidence, general stress, physical pain – or simply just to relax and feel better!
I am especially interested in trying to help resolve seemingly ‘untreatable’ issues which may be affecting health and well being. With the right kind of support, I believe the mind and body will always strive towards health and balance.
